Timing – 0900 Hrs to 1700 Hrs 

The tour starts with a visit of the Grand Mosque, standing in stately grandeur. A visit to this beautiful piece of architecture is a must for all tourist (Open daily for visitors, between 0800– 1100 Hrs, except Fridays) Dress code – Women should wear attire covering their arms and legs and should cover their head with scarf. Men should wear normal shirt and ankle length trousers), From here, move on to the Fish and vegetable markets in Muttrah. Take a drive past the Corniche and to the capital area before you take a photo stop at the Sultan’s Palace flanked by the 16th Century Portuguese forts of Jalali and Mirani. Visit Bait Al Zubair Museum for a fine display of Omani culture and history. 

We then take you to a local restaurant for lunch. 

After lunch, proceed to Qantab fishing village via the fishing villages of Sidab & Haramel. Drive past Omans’ premium hotel, the Al Bustan Palace hotel. Continue the drive to Qantab village. Spend some time at leisure on the beach and experience the warm waters. Later, we take you back to Muttrah souk where sights, sounds and fragrances are in abundance. Feel free to mingle with the crowd. Don’t forget to haggle for that exquisite silver ornament or the antique which you are hoping to purchase. We end the day by a short evening drive along the corniche to your hotel in Muscat.

Swimming in Wadis– Wadis are a public tourist area and hence, it attracts both tourist & locals equally. Keeping in mind the country’s culture, all women are requested to wear clothes up to the knees. T-shirts & shorts are fine. However, bikinis only are not recommended. 

Trekking- Take as little as possible as conditions are usually steep and hot. Boots are required and it should be lightweight but beware of the aggressive nature of the rocks. Trekking shoes and light-colored clothes are advisable. 

During other tours – Smart casuals are suitable especially if visiting local villages and meeting local people.
